  • My car has officially displayed BHG symptom #2. And possibly also #3 but I have yet to witness it myself.

What was BHG symptom #1 you ask?

OIL IN THE COOLANT. This was about a month ago.

Now symptom #2 is inconsistent heating most likely due to combustion gases entering the coolant thru the blown head gasket.

Symptom #3, which I haven't actually seen but I've seen the bloody forensic evidence all over the place, is boiling coolant. Oh noes is right.

It's like watching my car slowly die of advanced coronary disease.

    This is sad people!

  • I have a confession to make.

Listening to Christmas songs make me emo. I'm kind of upset they're all over the radio.

    Okay one more confession.

The only reason why I haven't hated today as I walked without an umbrella in the soaking rain all the way back to my car is because once I got in my car, my new windshield wipers worked beautifully.

Quietly, forcefully wiping away the cold harsh rain drops. It was great.

  • I am thanksful for...

Family, friends, KCM, church, brotherhood, sisters, the engineers at Acura, Hillsongs, Taiwan, hemoglobin, Gnutella on white toast, laughter, corny jokes, expensive chocolate, glomerular filtration apparatus, toilets, fireplaces, feelings, Listerine, the fasten seatbelt beep when you start the car. The list can just goes on.

Above all, a God who loved me before I knew what love was, who saved me as I am in in my sin, who watches over me and is faithful no matter how much I fail.

The grace of God is the best gift I have ever had the privelege to receive.

It is the thing I am most thankful to have.

  • I was going to write something but then I forgot.

Lucky for you I remember now!

Yeah so basically I haven't bought anything from Ten Ren in over 2 year. But I went tonight just cuz I was in the mood for spontaneity and Ten Ren was the only thing besides like bars that was open. Also, it felt very Taiwan to say at 11 pm at night to your friend, "Hey! Let's go grab some bubble tea!"

I'm never going back to Ten Ren again here.

First, the guy working at the cashier tonight TOTALLY ignored me. Took my friend's order (cute girl, guys can't ignore her) then proceeded to skip to the guy who just walked in that he knew.

Second, milk tea was watered down.

Third, the bubbles were not very Q at all. In fact they were squishy like an oversoak sponge or something.

I'm still upset the guy totally took my friend's order but proceeded to ignore me. It was straight up rude.

The bad bubble tea was just insult to injury.
